New ATV/UTV Ordinance Adopted

Following questions from community members regarding legal use of ATVs and UTVs within Cedar Rapids City limits, revised language was added to Municipal Code clarifying their appropriate use. The City Council adopted a revised version of Chapter 61.140 of the Municipal Code at their meeting on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. The revised ordinance if effective on March 30, 2024, and includes vehicles commonly referred to as side-by-sides, all-terrain-vehicles, golf carts and snowmobiles. Additional information:
