The City of Cedar Rapids, including the Police Department and Information Technology Department, in partnership with the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, has developed a voluntary registration program that provides law enforcement with identifying information and cues to aid in assisting persons with developmental disabilities. Individuals with Autism or other developmental disabilities may not be able to identify themselves, respond appropriately or provide emergency contact information. This program, entitled “Home Again CR” is intended to provide an avenue to access this information.
