The primary focus of the EMP is to improve energy efficiency in municipal operations. The city wants to “walk the walk” and focus investments on sources of energy demand directly under city control. However, the EMP also addresses citywide energy use because the City believes that the benefits of energy efficiency and conservation will positively impact residents and businesses located in our community.
