New "Inside Cedar Rapids" Podcast Now Available

The City of Cedar Rapids recently launched a new monthly podcast aimed at providing Cedar Rapids residents with an inside look at City programs, projects and issues. The podcast, called “Inside Cedar Rapids,” will feature interviews of City staff as they share details and answer questions about a variety of topics of interest to residents.

The first episode is available now, and covers the timely topic of Spring flooding and flood control, with an inside perspective from Jen Winter, the City’s Public Works Director. Winter discusses what residents need to know about flooding, and how her team monitors and reacts when flooding occurs.
