Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory Lifted

Bacteria samples associated with a water main break in the city's northeast quadrant have returned negative. This confirms that water in the impacted area is safe to consume without first having been boiled.

On Monday, September 10, 2018, a water main break northeast of the Gibson Drive NE and Blairs Ferry Road NE intersection caused a disruption to normal distribution operation.

Since that time, repairs have been completed and normal water service has resumed in the area. A precautionary drinking water advisory was issued on Monday. The advisory is now lifted.
