Demolition of Flood Damaged Structures Rebid

Scope of Work:
The primary purpose of this scope of work is to maintain the public health, safety, and well-being of the City during the response to an emergency situation, as well as to restore the public areas of the City to a normal condition. The Contractor understands and agrees that demolition and debris removal in the most expeditious manner possible is of the utmost importance and it will make every effort to complete all requirements of this Contract in the shortest time possible. Since inspection for ACM and abatement is not possible prior to demolition, all demolition debris, including cement slabs and basements, must be handled and disposed as Regulated Asbestos -Containing Material (RACM).The work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of demolition and removal of approximately 28 flood damaged structures as directed by the City. The Contractor shall not be paid to handle, process or dispose of structures or debris that are unrelated to flood damage. Contractor must review this Scope of Services and provide support for the fact that it has sufficient experience and expertise as is necessary to execute the terms and conditions of this contract.
