Bike to Work Week Activities Kick Off This Week
In celebration of National Bike Month, residents are invited to participate in a variety of bike friendly activities throughout the month of May designed to encourage sustainability, cycling, enhance bike safety education, and continue growing a bike-friendly culture.
Bike to Work Week (May 11–17) offers a variety of events focused on bike education and opportunities to gather with community members who share a love for biking.

City Manager’s 1-Bag Challenge Community Event scheduled for Friday, April 19 at Noon
Each year, the City of Cedar Rapids Solid Waste & Recycling division undertakes concentrated efforts to remove litter from City streets, parks, and Interstate 380. This effort is in addition to a variety of annual “spring cleaning” work by multiple City departments to enhance the City Manager’s 1-Bag Challenge program, reducing pollution and improving beauty across our community.Date:04/17/2024
