Sales and marketing strategy. Many businesses have seen a negative impact to revenues as a result of the pandemic and derecho. As such, cash flows have been compromised and the ability to reinvest in itself has been diminished. This includes marketing activities. One of the primary needs expected is how to attract and re-engage with customers as the market re-opens and customers become more willing to return to restaurants, retail stores, service businesses, venues, hospitality industry businesses, etc. This counseling will help provide a blueprint to Get, Keep and Grow customers.

Marketing technology systems. E-commerce has become an essential channel to customer development. Many businesses have make-shift or no e-commerce or virtual ordering systems in place. They may have employed some aspects through social media and direct messaging. It is expected that the market has permanently changed the way we do business for retail, restaurant, food ordering, etc. While a return to normal will occur, the added dimension of virtual interaction will be essential to doing business. These counselors will assist with marketing technology systems and identifying resources to assist with marketing subscriptions, integrations and implementation assistance.

Human Resources. Ad-hoc services including company policy changes of a remote work force, recruiting strategies for rebuilding workforces, hiring policies, work/life balance issues around online school, daycare, etc.

Finance and bookkeeping. Examples include bringing bookkeeping and tax information current in preparing applications for financial assistance such as federal and state loans and grants. More in-depth situations may involve cash flow analysis and strategies to return the business to profitability and any added overhead such as loan repayment.
