The Information Technology (IT) Department provides service delivery and support for City technology systems.
To assist in department’s technology needs being met, prominent committees are used as communication tools between departments and IT:
- The IT User Group focuses on the business needs and viewing of upcoming technology for departments.
- The IT EnerGov User Group focuses on enhancing communication between the IT Department Support Staff and EnerGov Technology Users.
- The GIS Users Group focuses on new GIS developments and applications.
IT is an internal City service, dedicated to ensuring that City employees have access to the data and technology needed to perform their duties with maximum efficiency.
