Project Improvements include a 3” asphalt mill and overlay, 8” concrete reconstruction, ADA-compliant pedestrian ramps, removal of four catch basins and replacement with three new structures, stormwater improvements, and a water valve relocation. Users can now fully enjoy the use of a smoother ride and improved traffic surfacing.
Project Background:
This project includes an asphalt overlay, a PCC reconstruction of Trail Ridge Road SE between East Post Road and Bever Avenue, installation of ADA-compliant pedestrian ramps, and replacement of existing storm sewer structures. These improvements will extend the service life of the street.
Planned Improvements:
The Public Improvement, upon which bids are requested, generally consists of 3" HMA mill and overlay, 8" PCC reconstruction, ADA-compliant pedestrian ramps, removal of four (4) catch basins and replacement with three new structures, stormwater improvements, and a water valve relocation. Located at East Post Road SE from north of Bever Avenue to south of Indian Creek Bridge. The Engineer’s estimate of probable cost is $640,000.
