Schools Out Pet Adoption Special

Help our fur kids’ graduate to their forever homes!  Cedar Rapids Animal Care and Control has dogs and cats waiting to be your sidekick for some summer fun! From June 1-12, 2021, you can find the pet of your dreams and pay just a fraction of the normal adoption fee.  Cat and dog adoptions are just $50.00.  Adoption fees include:

• Spay or neuter
• Initial vaccinations
• Dewormer
• Flea/tick treatment
• Microchip
  

The Cedar Rapids Animal Care and Control facility is currently at limited opening. The shelter will allow up to two families inside the facility at one time. A family is considered those residing in the same household that will be living with and caring for the pet they adopt. Guests may be required to wait outside of the facility if there are already two families inside looking at the animals available for adoption.

Cedar Rapids Animal Care and Control is encouraging appointments for adoptions. Those seeking to adopt an animal are also encouraged to compete an adoption application prior to arrival to help facilitate the process. Appointments are available by calling (319) 286-5993. Cedar Rapids Animal Care and Control is located at 7241 Washington View Parkway SW on the Kirkwood Community College campus.  Office hours are Monday through Saturday from Noon to 5:00 p.m.
