The Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation Department plans to open Ellis Golf Course, 1401 Zika Avenue NW, on Monday, March 27. The clubhouse will open at 7:30 a.m., with tee times beginning at 8:00 a.m., and close at dusk through March. The driving range will also be open, and carts will be available as conditions allow. This year, new alcoholic drinks and concession items will be added, and tournaments and events will be hosted at the event center. Tee times may be reserved at www.playcedarrapidsgolf.com. Season passes may be purchased online at www.playcedarrapidsgolf.com or at the course after it is open.
