City of Cedar Rapids Joins Nextdoor

The City of Cedar Rapids has joined Nextdoor to help make our community stronger and safer. Nextdoor is a free private social networking website for neighborhoods. The site allows neighbors to connect and share information. The City plans to use Nextdoor to share important community news and emergency notifications that are relevant to individual neighborhoods.
The Nextdoor website is private and City staff is not able to see any of the content on the neighborhood websites except for the direct replies to our posts.
We look forward to communicating with residents on Nextdoor to make Cedar Rapids an even better place to live.
