Each residential customer is allotted one city-issued GARBY cart for household garbage. The cart must stay at the original address. All garbage must be bagged before being placed in your GARBY.

CURBY Carts
Each residential customer is allotted one city-issued CURBY cart for recyclables. If you have more recyclables than will fit in your CURBY cart, you may set out items in a 2 ft. by 3 ft. cardboard box. The crew member will collect the box and contents. You may also purchase an additional cart for more capacity. Call 319-286-5897 for more information. Recyclables should be rinsed and placed loose in your CURBY.

YARDY Carts
Each residential customer is allotted one city-issued YARDY cart for disposing of yard waste and organics. There are two size options for the YARDY cart, 95 gallon and 65 gallon. You may select the size that best fits your needs. If you need additional room for yard waste, you may purchase an extra YARDY cart by calling 319-286-5897. Both sizes are available for purchase. Twigs and branches that do not fit in your YARDY should be gathered into 3 ft. by 2 ft. bundles weighing 40 pounds or less.
