When it comes to curbside recycling, CURBY is the tool for the job! CURBY is a large blue cart that can easily be wheeled to and from the curb on collection day.
CURBY is co-mingled, which means that several different materials can be put in the same container. The following materials can all be placed in CURBY together:

Glass
Glass is recyclable at your curb, but should not be placed in CURBY because it poses a safety hazard to our recycling crews and the workers at the sorting facility.
Clear and colored glass can be mixed together and placed in a separate bucket with a handle, no larger than 5 gallons. Place the bucket three feet away from your CURBY cart for collection.

Extra Recycling
There is a weight restriction on the recycling collection containers, but no volume restriction. When setting your CURBY cart out for collection it should not weigh more than 220 pounds. If you are still using the older small blue bins the weight limit is 40 pounds.
If you have more recycling than will fit in your CURBY cart, you can set out extra items in a cardboard box. On collection day, crews will take the cardboard box as well to prevent it from blowing around your neighborhood. Please limit the box size to 2ft. x 3ft. x 2ft.
