Rain Impacts Sac & Fox Trail and Jones Golf Course
Thunderstorms overnight caused flooding on the Sac and Fox Trail and at Jones Golf Course. The trail is currently flooded from the river near the Indian Creek Nature Center. Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation Department staff anticipates that the trail will remain flooded through the weekend.
Jones Golf Course experienced flooding on the back nine holes. The front nine holes of the course are open for play at the nine hole rate. No carts are allowed on the course at this time. The Parks and Recreation Department will announce when the course is open for 18 hole play again.
