ReLeaf Supporters and Sponsors Celebrated on Derecho Anniversary

The City of Cedar Rapids, in partnership with Trees Forever, will recognize and celebrate sponsors and supporters of ReLeaf Cedar Rapids on the third anniversary of the August 2020 Derecho. A commemoration ceremony will be held on Thursday, August 10 at 9:00 a.m. in Bever Park, along Bever Park Road near the Red Oak Pavilion.
ReLeaf Cedar Rapids is the plan to replant trees following the August 2020 Derecho. The City and Trees Forever are in the second year of implementing the ten-year plan. The City and Trees Forever will unveil the first park sign to acknowledge contributors to ReLeaf Cedar Rapids at the event. Additional donor signs will be placed throughout the park system in the future.
