Monthly Job Fairs Showcase Cedar Rapids Parks & Rec Seasonal Opportunities

The Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation Department is now hiring hundreds of seasonal workers for spring and summer positions in Aquatics, Golf, Parks, and Recreation operations. Opportunities include lifeguards, maintenance workers, coaches, day camp leaders, and more. A listing of available jobs and applications are online at CityofCR.com/Jobs.

The Department will hold four job fairs in the upcoming months to allow potential employees to see available jobs, ask questions, and get help applying. Job fairs will be held:

• Friday, January 26 | 3-7 PM | Ellis Event Center, 1401 Zika Avenue NW
• Saturday, February 24 | 10 AM-2 PM | Northwest Recreation Center, 1340 11^th Street NW
• Monday, March 11 | 9 AM-6 PM | City Services Center, 500 15^th Avenue SW
• Thursday, March 14 | 9 AM-6 PM | City Services Center 500 15^th Avenue SW

For those who need help applying and are unable to attend a job fair, assistance is available at the Parks and Recreation office at the City Services Center, 500 15^th Avenue SW, weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
