Edgewood Road Bridge and Trail Improvements

Edgewood Road Trail Phase 2B is scheduled to begin March 4, 2024. This multi-phase project is located on the Edgewood Road bridge between Ellis Road NW and Glass Road NE. Construction will include bridge modifications to accommodate an eight-foot-wide trail with approximately 400 feet of additional trail extending north of the bridge; miscellaneous bridge repairs, additional; and water main replacement and relining, bringing the water main back online after being out of service since 2017.
Traffic control is planned to remain in place between March 4 and mid-September of this year with lane reductions to northbound and southbound traffic for all stages of work. Two-way traffic will be maintained throughout the duration of construction. Estimated timeline for each stage of work is as follows:
- Stage 1: March 4, 2024 through late June 2024
- Stage 2: Late June 2024 through late August 2024
- Stage 3: Late August through mid-September 2024
