City Seeks Feedback from Regional Workforce to Unlock Community Potential

November 22, 2023

We are seeking feedback from “working age” people who live and work in the Cedar Rapids metro area. We just launched a new survey with questions about how you view area employment and our region’s potential. This is all part of the Collaborative Growth Initiative, a strategic partnership between the cities of Cedar Rapids, Marion, and Hiawatha, along with the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance.

Anybody who is of a working age, generally between 18–65 years old, is encouraged to provide their feedback. Your responses will help us understand our area’s workforce dynamics, identify opportunities for improvement, and enhance quality of life.

The survey closes on December 5.

More about the Collaborative Growth Initiative
Launched in 2023, the Collaborative Growth Initiative aims to drive regional growth through collective action. Work will focus on identifying growth targets, strategic markets, and implementing a marketing strategy aimed at attracting a diverse workforce and enhancing the overall quality of life in the Cedar Rapids metro area.
