Twin Pines Golf Course and Mini Pines Miniature Golf Course to Open 

The Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation Department plans to begin the golf season with the opening of Twin Pines Golf Course, 3800 42nd Street NE, on Friday, March 1. The clubhouse will open at 7:30 a.m., tee times will begin at 8:00 a.m., and the course will close at dusk through March. The driving range will also be open. Mini Pines, the City’s miniature golf course, will also open for the season on March 1. It will operate daily from 10:00 a.m. to dusk.

The Department plans to open Gardner Golf Course, 5101 Old Golf Course Road, on Wednesday, March 6. Ellis Golf Course, 1401 Zika Avenue NW, will open on Monday, March 11. Courses will operate as conditions allow with a limited number of carts available. Tee times may be reserved at www.playcedarrapidsgolf.com. Season passes may be purchased online at www.playcedarrapidsgolf.com or at courses after they open.
