March 22 Snow Operations

Snow crews are out in force today clearing streets up following this late-season snowfall.
Every available resource is on the road right now. Salt is being used and is proving effective with our current temps. Timing of the morning commute and an intensification of the storm is complicating removal. Crews will stay engaged until streets are cleared.
CRPD has responded to several minor accidents this morning and CRFD was called to two accidents with injuries, none serious.
Solid waste is continuing service on the SE side today. They are moving slower than normal but will complete their routes.
